Vision

To infuse a feeling of oneness between normal and physically handicapped and to create opportunities for self sufficiency and self reliance among all handicapped particularly cricketers.

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN PCAPH (Mr. Abbas Hashmi)

First of all I must congratulate all members for their untiring efforts for establishing PCAPH. I am pleased to state that this association has taken strong roots and is well on its way to bringing back the handicapped people in the main stream of life. Our main mission is to act as liaison between normal people and disabled people. Up till now there was no such organization of cricket for the physically handicapped at the country level. I am proud to be associated with this noble cause. I must appreciate the efforts of all my team members for establishing this association. I am thankful to the civil society and Government of Pakistan who supported us in every endeavor.

The tour of Switzerland by the Pakistan Cricket Association for the Physically Handicapped (PCAPH) has been hailed a great success by all concerned. The whirlwind tour, held over seven days (10-17.9.2014), was initiated and organised by Geneva International CC's vice-President Madame Huong T. Huynh.

Cricket Switzerland and several of its clubs sponsored the tour materially and in kind.

Matches were played against five Cricket Switzerland teams:

    • CERN - match tied (read the match report)
    • La Chat - won by PCAPH
    • Geneva International - won by PCAPH
    • Cossonay - won by PCAPH
    • Berne (Day/Night) - won by Berne

Before the last match, against Berne, the touring group were received by the Pakistan Ambassador to Switzerland, Dr. H.E. Aman Rashid, who also kindly attended the Berne match.
A trophy was presented by Cricket Switzerland to the touring team as a memento of their visit.
For their part, the tourists were deeply appreciative of the arrangements made for them, the friendliness of all who were involved and the opportunity to visit Switzerland.  It was a particular pleasure for the team members to play on the lush green fields of Switzerland.
